Gaskets
Rubber gaskets (also known as rubber washers) are commonly used between two mating faces to prevent vibration or to provide a seal. They are especially useful in low pressure flange sealing applications, when space is limited and when there is insufficient groove depth (an alternative to O-rings).
Precision Polymer Engineering manufactures standard imperial rubber washers and metric rubber washers, as well as non-standard sizes and custom shaped washers. Standard flat washers and lipped washers are manufactured using compression or injection molding from an extensive range of elastomer materials.
