After a year of positive momentum, Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) will have new leadership to continue guiding the business forward in 2026.
Experienced global manufacturing executive Steve Platt joins as President of PPE Global. He will be based in Blackburn, UK, spending time across PPE’s facilities in Blackburn and Brenham TX, in addition to visiting customers globally.
Working together with PPE site leadership – Mike Keegan in Blackburn and Jeremy Vaughn in Brenham – Steve Platt’s appointment further strengthens PPE’s ability to deliver on its strategic objectives.
Steve’s Background and Vision
Steve has more than 30 years of experience developing cross-functional teams and implementing strategies for sustainable, profitable growth and success, blending his background in lean manufacturing with a people-first cultural mindset.
Throughout his career, Steve has worked closely with leadership teams and frontline operations to improve safety, quality, delivery, and financial performance. He has extensive experience scaling businesses, integrating acquisitions, and embedding practical operating systems that support both day-to-day execution and long-term strategy.
Steve began his career with Toyota. More recently he has led complex manufacturing operations in regulated industries for Baxter, Advanced Medical Solutions, and Nilfisk.
