Problem
Requirement for special “make and break” seal in the flow cell manifold with smooth flow path for reagents, otherwise liquid would be trapped leading to cross contamination, bacteria growth and DNA sequencing results would be adversely affected.
Solution
PPE offered a custom designed Perlast® G67P seal bonded to a PEEK ring, backed up with full FEA analysis to validate the design concept.
Result
Perlast® G67P solved all application problems and is Compatible with fluorine based chemistries and universally suitable for both wet and dry semiconductor processes including Lithography, Plasma, PVD, CVD, Etch, Stripping and Cleaning.
