PPE is delighted to have received re-acceptance to Defence Standard 02-337 (NES 337) for a range of elastomer sealing materials.
The following PPE materials have been accepted for use by the UK Ministry of Defence:
- Medium Nitrile at 60, 70, 80 and 90 IHRD – material grades N73B, N83B, N93B, N73H and N93H
- Fluoroelastomer at 70 IHRD – material grade V72G
Defence Standard 02-337 (NES 337) defines O-ring seals used on UK Ministry of Defence Surface Ships and Submarines and their associated systems and equipment. Typical system applications include hydraulics, lubrication systems, fuel systems and pneumatics.
