A range of metal detectable and X-ray detectable elastomer compounds designed specifically to meet the stringent demands of the pharmaceutical and food processing industries.
The Detectaseal® range includes FDA compliant grades of EPDM, Nitrile, Silicone and Fluorocarbon (FKM) compounds, plus USP Class VI certification for Silicone. All materials in the Detectaseal® range are free from animal derived ingredients (ADI-free) and conform to EU regulations EC1935/2004 and EC2023/2006.
Available in blue and black, Detectaseal® O-rings have been tested and proven in use at leading pharmaceutical and food manufacturing plants. Fragments of Detectaseal® as small as 5mm can be identified by x-ray and in-line metal detection equipment in process lines.
Detectaseal® materials are available as molded O-rings , HyClamp sanitary gaskets, IDF seals, RJT O-rings, DIN11851 D-seals and custom-designed components.
