WRAS approvals for S71U and V70Q

Share this:

Precision Polymer Engineering is pleased to confirm WRAS approvals for both S71U and V70Q material grades.

Safeguarding the end consumer is of paramount importance when designing a sealing solution for life science process applications. Any element of the design in contact with the food or pharmaceutical media needs to have the correct approvals in place.

WRAS, or the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme, are responsible for certifying non-metallic products as safe for use in contact with potable water.

S71U is a platinum-cured silicone rubber, certified suitable for use in contact with potable water up to 85°C, as O-rings between 1.78mm and 5.70mm cross-section.

V70Q is a fluoroelastomer rubber, certified suitable for use in contact with potable water up to 23°C, as O-rings between 1.60mm and 7.00mm cross-section.
