Spain Royal Decree 847 of July 2011
In Spain, the national regulation Real Decreto 847/2011 has to be met for various food contact materials like rubber, adhesives, and coatings.
The regulation establishes the positive list of permitted substances for the manufacture of plastic and rubber materials intended to come into contact with food. It also details the restrictions relating to migration limits (SML or OML) or compositional limits.
