PPE wins Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade

Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) is pleased to annouce that it has received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s leading accolade for business success. Details of the winners of the 2007 Awards were announced today on the occasion of the 81st Birthday of Her Majesty The Queen.

PPE manufactures and supplies high performance elastomer O-rings and custom seals to leading pharmaceutical, semiconductor, chemical processing and oilfield companies in Europe, USA and Asia. The award is in the category of International Trade, reflecting the company’s export earnings which have increased by 98% during the last three years, with export sales accounting for over 80% of total revenue.

PPE's Queen's Award for
Innovation 2006


The award will be presented later this year to the Company at a special ceremony by the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire - the local representative of HM The Queen. David Holt, PPE Director of Business Development, will attend a reception at The Department of Trade and Industry on 24th April, in the presence of HRH The Duke of York to celebrate this year's Awards and there will also be a winners’ reception at Buckingham Palace in July.
