Quality Management System
Precision Polymer Engineering first attained registration to ISO9001 (formerly BS5750 part 2) in 1992.
Our current registration is to:
AS9100:2004 ‘Quality Management Systems – Aerospace – Requirements’
and
ISO9001:2000 ‘Quality Management Systems – Requirements’

Third party approvals to the above standards are via Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), under certificate number 4002212. No exclusions to any of the clauses of AS9100 and ISO9001 are claimed.
Scope of supply:
"Design, development, manufacture and supply of mouldings, seals, gaskets, extrusions and composites in natural and synthetic materials".
AS9100:
For customers who are not familiar with AS9100, this international standard has been prepared by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) for the purpose of achieving significant improvements in quality and safety, and reductions in cost, throughout the value stream. The IAQG includes representation from aerospace companies in the Americas, Asia/Pacific, and Europe. The standard includes ISO9001:2000 quality system requirements and specifies additional requirements for a quality management system for the aerospace industry.
Environmental Certification
Precision Polymer Engineering has been approved to the ISO14001:2004 'Environmental Management System'.
This approval is applicable to the "design, development, manufacture and supply of mouldings, seals, gaskets, extrusions and composites in natural and synthetic material".

Health & Safety Certification
Precision Polymer Engineering has been approved to the OHSAS 18001: 1999 'The Occupational Health & Safety Management System'.
This approval is applicable to the "design, development, manufacture and supply of mouldings, seals, gaskets, extrusions and composites in natural and synthetic materials".
