Queen's Award for Enterprise - International Trade 2007 PPE Limited received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2007, the UK’s leading accolade for business success. The award, in the category of International Trade, reflects the company’s export earnings which have increased by 98% during the last three years, with export sales accounting for over 80% of total revenue. The award was presented to the Company at a special ceremony by the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire - the local representative of HM The Queen. Representatives from the company also attended a winners’ reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke of York. |

Queen's Award for Enterprise - Innovation 2006 PPE Limited received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2006 for Innovation, for its PERLAST® G67P perfluoroelastomer material. Developed over a number of years, PERLAST® G67P was the first high purity, translucent perfluoroelastomer material on the market, which represented a huge step-change in critical sealing technology within the semiconductor industry. The award recognises PPE's leading-edge materials for sealing applications and the exceptional team of chemists and research scientists who skillfully blend fluorine chemistry expertise with PPE’s proprietary polymer science and knowledge management capabilities.
