Mechanical Seals

Engineered mechanical seals use precision manufactured low clearance, metallic faces rotating to form a non-contact seal. Often used in pumps, compressors and other rotating equipment they are subject to demanding, often unpredictable, operating environments. Static sealing locations on these complex, high value assemblies is catered for by elastomeric seals.

Perlast perfluoroelastomers offer the highest chemical and temperature resistant seals allowing mechanical seals that utilise them to be specified into a wide ranging applications.
